This impressive, tall, antique Burmese shrine or Hpaya Khan is crafted with a red lacquer finish, embellished with glass and mirrored jewels. Crafted in five graduated, stacking parts, the elaborate, pierced finial is carved with exotic birds and peacocks, topping a display cabinet designed to display a buddha sculpture. The cabinet is raised on graduated, tiers of drawers and closed cabinets on a tall, stepped plinth.
