Adorned with numerous, applied designs, including floral patterns, knights on horseback, acorns, lions, and featuring a royal crest at the center, this redware dispenser is in barrel form with a bung at the top and an inserted, wooden tap at the bottom. It is an attractive addition to any pottery collection, but also would make a great party beverage server or a nice large lamp base for a pub room. It is probably by Lambeth, Doulton or a similar maker.
