A large pair of antique Austrian Vienna Secessionist opposing mahogany display cabinets with hammered brass exposed hinges and hardware. The top of the bookcases with nine beveled glass panes.
MAKER
Manufacturer: Friedrich Otto Schmidt (Vienna, Austria, 1858-1918). Miksa Schmidt was the Budapest branch of the Viennese company Friedrich Otto Schmidt. Schmitt collaborated with many famous designers including Adolf Loos, Wilhelm Schmidt and Koloman Moser.
