This antique French buffet is called a Deux Corps, which translates into “buffet with two bodies” which refers to the fact the top and bottom are detachable, for separation in storage and for easier movability. This piece features period typical fluting and paneling as well as Roman architectural motifs. Notice the two lower cabinets doors that have a two point perspective of a archway leading into a street.
