A pair of antique, mid 19th century, neoclassical wax relief portraits of circular form, one with a pair of angels and one with a head and shoulders portrait of three ladies. They are mounted in matching ebonized, diamond-shaped frames. Miniature bas-relief portraits were very popular from the late 18th century to 1840s, when they were replaced by photography portraiture.
