Both artists work focused heavily on the sciences and humanities, specifically biology, anatomy, geography, astronomy and the arts.
This piece is arranged in three registers. Each contains a variety of exotic birds, including detailed plumage. The backgrounds include depictions of the Orient as well as European gardens.
