It features a very tall trumeau with a deeply moulded cornice; the front, hand carved to display an arched moulding, suggesting a portal. The frieze surmounts a double ogee opening for the firebox and is adorned with incised reserves. Note: shown mocked up in our gallery with no mortar in joints.
