Rising on a central, crystal fount, this antique French chandelier features three upper tiers in umbrella shape, with two lower tiers inverted and housing the lovely, tall and slender candle lights. This piece is special for the myriad round crystals of varied sizes, including a large, cut one at the bottom, and the elaborate beaded swags. It is of the highest quality; an impressive piece and nice, compact size. It was salvaged from a Paris building in the 1970s and is a rare surviving example of the elegance of the time.
