Hand chiseled, in two pieces of granite, in the form of a giant mushroom, this antique architectural staddle stone was used in England, usually in groups of four or more, as the raised foundation for a hay drying rack, sometimes in the form of a small shed. Today, they make charming garden ornaments, and offer many decorating possibilities.
