Antique; 19th century, English, silverplated, chafing dish with separate inset tray and lid. Scallop design and acanthus style handles and edges. Removable oil and wick warmer underneath upper tray. The wick is adjustable wit a silverplated turning knob. Two handles on sides of lower warming dish are hinged and adjustable. Condition: Good; some tarnish, pitting, & wear. Materials: silverplate. Marked "CSC" with a crown logo on the underside edge of the removable interior tray. Size: 18" L x 10.5" W x 11" H. Interior tray measures: 16.5"L x 10.5"W x 2.7 5"H with feet. Oil & wick container measures: 3"Diam x 2.25"H.
