This is a navy blue Lilian from 1920's in the characteristic open and spacious pattern often seen on these rugs. The dark blue field Lilians are far more rare than their red or cranberry red counterparts. The rug is in very good condition with even short pile and slight allover wear,gentle wear,commensurate to age.
