This is an original G. Henry playing card trimmer used to alter the size of cards by a fraction of an inch
for the purpose of card cheating.
The tool base is solid brass with adjustable precision edges. A large pair of scissors is attached at the side.
These types of vintage gambling collectibles are getting hard to find. This tool likely dates back to the late 1800's to early 1900's. It is engraved with “G.Henry & Co. Chicago Ill.”.
Size is about 6” square. The scissors are 12” long. Excellent condition.
