This is a vintage 1940-50's era cigar store trade stimulator. There are no markings identifying the maker but the mechanism looks similar to some of the Daval machines I've seen. It is a three reel mechanism with cigarette pack pictures on the reels and it operates on one penny. The last coin played is visible at the side and if the player succeeds in lining up three of a kind, the payout would have been through the store keeper. The cabinet is expertly made out of wood. The machine appears to be totally original (with the exception of the lock on the back door). The reel strips are in excellent condition and the machine works perfectly. Size is 12" X 9" X 8".
