Here is a working radiation detector made for use by the Polish army. The unit is housed in a Bakelite case and is a portable model for using in the field. Instructions are on the back of the case and are all in Polish. The front side has a switch to either use the flashing red warning lamp or the very loud intermittent horn. The lower switch can be set to one of three radiation detection levels, “K” (test position), or “W” (the off position). It uses 4 standard size flashlight batteries and appears to be in excellent working condition.
It's fairly heavy weighing about 6 lbs, size is 7” X 6” X 3”. It's missing the carrying strap but otherwise in excellent condition.
