A beautiful Queen Victoria sugar bowl from the Herend factory near the city of Veszprém, Hungary. The bowl and lid are decorated with hand painted flowers and butterflies. The top of the lid has three painted roses to be used as a handle. It is said that Queen Victoria purchased this porcelain set to be used at Buckingham Palace and so it is called the "Queen Victoria set". The bowl was likely manufactured in the mid 1800's.
The item is 100% handpainted and hand gilded with 24 carat gold. Size is 4" by 3 1/4" and 4 1/2" tall.
