This is a set of two military beer steins from TirschenReuth Germany from around 1945. The steins have the Bavarian Coat of Arms on one side that was designed by Otto Hupp and in use during the years 1923 to 1950. It has a Norman shield with a flaming sword on the other. The flaming sword insignia represents the U.S. Army Security Agency. The U.S. Security Agency's mission was to provide signal intelligence and communications security support to U.S. Forces in Europe.
The steins have nude figures for handles, both steins are identified on the bottom as “Bavaria Tirschen Reuth Germany” with the company logo.
Size is 7” tall, 4” diameter (on the inside).
Both steins are identical and in excellent condition.
