Sky King was sponsored by Peter Pan Peanut Butter. To get a premium ring such as this a kid had to buy a jar and mail in a label or seal. The Teleblinker ring has a large size black box as the crown piece. On the side of the box is a small white panel that is exposed if the top of the spring-loaded box was pushed down. The small white panel would appear to "blink" and could be used like a Morse code signaling light to send messages. The crownpiece also had a built-in, miniature telescope.
It is a brass ring with a unique Telescopic viewer mounted at the top. The Telescopic viewer has a metal body and aluminum telescoping scope that moves in and out. When extended it measures about 3 ½" in length. On top, there are action codes that say: "Advance, Retreat, Stop, Help, Danger". Ring has the "Flying Arrow" airplane on one side and "Yellow Fury" horse on the other. It originally cost 25 cents and one round metal disc or the paper jar top liner from the Peter Pan Peanut Butter jar.
