This is lovely antique berry motif brooch late-19th Century, Imperial Russian from the house of Faberge. Crafted in 14K yellow gold, marked 56 Zolotniks. There is a beautiful genuine sapphire and almandine garnet very unusual fancy pear cut. The stones are set in a famous berry motif. Bright saturated colors, blue and red. The rose cuts diamonds are set in dark silver with wonderful patina, they sparkle like magic! Breathtaking Russian treasure!! The brooch measures 34.68mm (1-3/8") x 11.9mm. Secure clasp. The weight is 4.3 grams.
