This is beautiful antique 18K yellow gold memorial locket bracelet with diamonds. A very classy hand made piece of art, truly. The inscription inside reads "Mary Smith died October 7th 1845. Aged 60". I do not know about you, but it is mind boggling to me to see something like that and be able to present it to you for your collection. There is a large rose cut pear cut diamond measuring 5.6mm x 4.6mm and small round rose cuts set in leaves. They are very fiery diamonds! The blue Guilloché Enamel is in great condition on a heart, no major issues. There is enamel repair on the bracelet links, but it is fixed and really not that noticeable. The blue color is to die for!! When you open your locket, you will see magnificent etching and a hair keepsake under the glass. The etching is also displayed on the back side of the heart. The heart measures 29.52mm (1-1/8") x 18.8mm including the arch. The bracelet weighs very heavy 33.1 grams (One Troy ounce = 31.1 grams). Over 1 ounce of gold! The wearable length is 7.5". There is an insert clasp that you have to squeeze and pull out, before the locket opens. This piece is not marked, but acid tested and guaranteed to be solid 18K.
Excellent Overall Condition.
Highly Collectible and Rare! You will never find another one like it! Museum Quality!
The workmanship is extraordinary!
