This exceptional Georgian ring centers around a radiant ruby in a crimped gold collet surrounded by a shimmering halo of ten table-cut diamonds. The setting features stylized cornucopia on the shoulders (symbolic of abundance) each sprouting a tiny diamond rosette. This style of band and the fluted closed back setting was typical of the second half of the 18th century in Western Europe.
Truly a rare and lovely ring.
