A Nice Mintons Brown and White Transferware Tile depicting Horses under a Tree from the "Animals on the Farm" series by the designer and engraver William Wise (1831-1889). This series began in 1879 and consists of twelve different farm scenes. This tile measures 6 inches square and is in good condition for its age and use. There are some small edge and corner chips.
