A Beautiful Ironstone Jug decorated in an Imari pattern. This jug measures approximately 5 inches in height and is decorated in underglaze blues with overglaze iron red, green and some gilt highlights. It is in very good condition for its age and use with only slight wear. It was made by the Longport Staffordshire Pottery of Davenport. The transfer printed "Stone China" mark on the bottom was used from 1805 to 1820. A nice addition to your collection of Imari colored Pottery!
