An unusual Victorian Three Piece Jasperware Tea Set consisting of a teapot, sugar bowl, and creamer. The brown pottery is decorated with white fern leafs and what I believe to be snowbells. The bottoms are marked with both impressed and incised marks, some of which may be date marks. The sugar bowl is marked with an impressed mark WREXHAM. I suspect this may be a pattern name and not a maker, as the town of Wrexham, in North Wales, was not a center of pottery production. The teapot measures approximately 5 inches in height, 8 1/2 inches wide, and 5 1/2 inches deep. The set is is in excellent condition for its age with only some minor staining. The creamer has 1/4 inch firing crack in the rim which can be seen in the close up picture. A lovely country tea set!
