This beautiful bowl is an excellent example of Royal Worcester Blush Ivory Porcelain that was introduced in the early 1890's. Blush Ivory items were inspired by Nature and influenced by the Art Nouveau style. This bowl has a strong scallop shell shape and is hand decorated with sprigs of various flowers. Heavy hand gilding complements the overall composition of this piece. The bowl measures approximately 9 inches by 9 inches and is 3 3/4 inches high. It is marked with the standard Royal Worcester mark with a lowercase "a" underneath dating it to the year 1890. Towards the edge of the bottom are initials "PE" which would be the artist that decorated this piece. Overall condition is good with expected wear to the gilt from use. There is also a very tiny chip to the edge that I have tried to show in the last picture. This is a good early example for Blush Ivory collectors.
