A Beautiful Ironstone Warming Plate in Hand Decorated Imari Colors. This piece was made by the partnership of John and William Ridgway in Staffordshire between 1814 and 1830, and is marked with the initials of the makers, J&W R. It is hexagonal in shape and measures approximately 10 1/4 by 10 1/4 1nd is 2 1/4 inches high. Condition is exceptional for its age and use with very minor loss to overglaze colors and one small edge chip on the back.
