A nice Blue and White Transferware Plate depicting an English estate scene with cows in the foreground. The estate is Wiseton Hall in Nottinghamshire. The plate is unmarked, but is believed to have been made by the Leeds pottery of Pettys & Co. circa 1825. The plate measures approximately 9 7/8 inches in diameter and is in overall good condition for its age. There is expected overall light crazing to the glaze, knife marks from use. and light staining to the back. A nice piece for collectors of British country scenes or cows.
