This sweet vanity case has never been used - lipstick case and powder box have never been filled and mirror is flawless. The outside back shows that it has been moved around, however. (image 5) I suspect that the hinged mirror hid a spot for cigarettes and one of the boxes in front was for change, Front has 2 shades of gold finish with images and a center that was meant for a monogram. Clasp works easily and well with just a thumb to the bottom part. Measures 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches and is in excellent vintage condition save for the scratches on back.
