I am offering an elegant porcelain covered tureen from the early 20th century. The piece was made by Chastagner & Company in the Limoges region of France as marked on the base. It has fancy scroll handles and decorative gold trim.
The bowl is 10” in diameter (12-1/2” from handle to handle) and about 7” high to the top of the lid's handle. The base alone is 4-1/4” high. The handles have delicate scroll details that is trimmed with gold. The bowl and lid are both in good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
