It's a sign of the times that the first thing I thought when I saw this pin was #hashtag. I'm certain however, giving the era (1960s-1970s) of the piece, that it was designed as an Asian symbol. Four goldtone bars cross each other, with the tapering ends opposing. The bright goldtone is finely textured on top, leaving just a peek of bright on the edges.
At 3" by 2-1/8", this is a substantial piece, and would be fab securing a shawl or on the collar of a coat. The perfect gift for those who Tweet! Absolutely no flaws to note. Any appearance of darker edges is camera reflection, as you can note in following photographs. Signed Celebrity under the pin bar, which is in perfect working order. #makeityours #beacelebrity
Gently cleaned and ready to wear. Securely wrapped and shipped in a gift box.

FYI: Celebrity: Brooklyn, NY. Possible dates of operation are 1950s - 1970s. Information about the company is not well documented, in part because it was sold through house parties much similar to other costume jewelry lines of the era.
