Engraving on back: Indicates that this brooch, containing two types of hair, is in memory of "Charles and Emma Kemp. 1867. aged 24 & 18." Brother and sister? Husband and wife? This is jewelry that tells a story. Brooch is 2in. x 2.3in. Weighs 26.5 grams. 12.5mm thick from back of brooch to top of crystal.
