Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Dish Daoguang Mark - image 1 of 16

The third of 8 Chinese ceramic dishes, originally purchased by an American Military Officer stationed in Tianjin in the 1930's, this wonderful "Ladies and Scholars in a Pavilion" dish bears a Daoguang mark and measures 9" diameter and 1 1/2" high. The first 5 photos were taken in artificial light and the last 10 were taken in bright daylight.

Provenance: General Gustav Braun; thence by descent.

Condition: Some edge roughness and a firing flaw (please see photos). No other damage, restoration or repair that we can spot.
