This is a lovely set of 10 covered bowls, signed on the base and in the sought-after burgundy color with gold and maybe copper, silver and charcoal slightly raised motifs. We are not experts in Japanese lacquer, so please email with any questions regarding the decoration.

Diameter of the bowls approx 4 5/8" Height approx 3 1/4". Condition: most of the bowls are "off" a perfect circle. 1 bowl has a small loss at the rim; 1 bowl has a small loss at the outside base (this looks as though it may have been a fabrication flaw); 1 bowl has a small area of cracks in the interior.
