Antique copper grain measure is very large. The grain measure was made in the 1800’s in England. It has a tin lining. Grain measures were used in pubs to measure ale. If the measurement was correct a state examiner stamped the lip of the measure. This piece has a stamp. The grain measure is in very good condition. It does have some minor dents which are consistent with the age.
