This is an original c1900 French Art Nouveau lithograph by the acclaimed artist Habert-Dys. Habert-Dys works are found in museums and library collections throughout the world. He is known for his intricate patterns of birds, flowers, fish, insects, etc that were designs for ceramics, plates, dishes textiles, wallpaper and jewelry. They reflect the elements of Japanese influence in the late 19th century and are characteristic of the Art Nouveau period. This is a rare large lithograph. It is in excellent condition with no indications of age. The color tones are soft hues; the details in the florals and patterns are rich and elaborate. The image is signed by the artist in the lower right corner. The imprint mark measures 9 ½ to 12 inches while the entire lithograph measures 12 ½ x 17 ¾ inches. It is original to c1900 and is NOT a recent reproduction.
