This is an original French Art Nouveau lithograph c1900. It is from “La Decoration Artistique” which was an unbound album of Art Nouveau designs for exteriors and interiors of salons, stores, etc. published by Henry Guedy (1822-1905). Design lithographs from this album are rare and difficult to find in good condition; they are highly collectible. Guedy’s “La Decoration Artistique” was the “go-to” collection and reference for Art Nouveau motifs. This lithograph was for a panel of flowers and it showcases the rose in particular. It is in soft pastel hues of pinks and blues. The lithograph is 11 x 15 inches. There are minor indications of age at the edges that can be easily matted out. The decorative panels are in excellent condition.
