This is a vintage Art deco print that came from a 1929 French magazine. It is original to that date; it is NOT a recent reproduction print. The print has an exquisite ethereal quality. It features a butterfly gently "kissing" a woman's lips.. Entitled the "Le Baiser du reve" or "dream kiss", the image captures a tender, heavenly moment. It is perfect for a bedroom, bathroom, hallway, or for any location where it can be seen up close to appreciate. And it is for anyone who loves butterflies! The print was illustrated by a Japanese artist, Foukiya, who worked in Paris in the early 20th century. His signature is in the lower right corner of the image. This is a rare image. It is the first time we have the print in all our years of collecting. 7.5 x 9 inches in size. Excellent clean condition. Comes matted in a neutral tone 16 x 20 inch custom mat ready for a standard size frame. Please allow time for custom matting.
