Iribe was a well-known illustrator and designer of the decorative arts who worked in Paris in the early 20th century. He created fashion pochoirs for La Gazette du Bon Ton contributing designs for leading couturiers. He had a prolific career working for French Vogue magazine, creating fabric and furniture designs and designing for private clients. He was also Coco Chanel's lover!
