VERY RARE! 1932 lithograph from a French Champagne catalog by Art Deco illustrator, Paul Iribe. Iribe was a well-known illustrator and designer of the decorative arts who worked in Paris in the early 20th century. He created fashion pochoirs for La Gazette du Bon Ton contributing designs for leading couturiers. He had a prolific career working for French Vogue magazine, creating fabric and furniture designs and designing for private clients. He was also Coco Chanel's lover! This lithograph is one of 2 images by Iribe (see other in our shop) for a champagne catalog that highlighted the industry and champagne as the symbol of luxury and celebration.
