This is a matted original French lithograph that dates to 1925. It features a coquetish woman sheepishly viewing her admirer. It is entitled “Timidity”. She is wrapped in a luxurious stole and shows a peak of her lingerie. The image is illustrated and signed by Fabius Lorenzi, an Italian illustrator whose illustrations were published in numerous French periodicals in the 1920s -1930s. He was known for pictures of flirtatious and whimsical women. He was also a well-known poster artist of the period and his work is often auctioned at Christies.
