Selling a great vintage 1956 vanity case with the name Fifth Avenue in the powder puff. Inside the lid is a picture of a mine and the engraving, "The Anaconda Company - Annual Meeting May 16, 1956". The company mined copper. One side has a mirror, an arm on a spring (for a tissue), space for a lipstick and a square area for face powder with a powder puff. The mirror is clear but has a few chips around the edge other then this it is in excellent vintage condition. The other side has a long arm for holding cigarettes. The outside is a gold tone metal in a basket weave pattern. The case is not attracted by a magnet, so the case may be brass. A snake chain handle in gold tone is attached to the top. All metal is in good shape with no dents or cracks. The vanity measures 4" long, 3" wide and 1 1/4" deep.
Measurements are as follows:
Width measures 4"
From top of clasp to bottom of purse 3"
