Being offered is a mid century sterling silver bracelet by Sigi Pineda, of Taxco, Mexico, in a moderne, grill work/cutout, motif. This cutout pattern makes a criss-cross design as the bracelet is hollow so that it is not too heavy for comfortable wearing. One series of slash cuts on the face portion of the silver leans one direction, while the other series of slash cuts on the inside piece of silver leans the opposite direction, making this grill work design. The bracelet itself is slightly oval and is approximately 2 1/2 inches by 2 inches. The inside circumference of the bracelet is about 6 3/8 inches. The bracelet has a hinge that is in good condition and opens to allow the wearer to put it on and remove it. Marked SIGI and with all period Mexican silver hallmarks as in the photograph. In excellent overall vintage condition.
