Sterling silver and glass liquor shot measurer and pourer. Marked Black, Starr & Frost - Gorham, this mark was used when Gorham merged with the Black, Starr & Frost company in 1929. In 1960 the name reverted back and the Black, Starr & Frost - Gorham mark was no longer used. They were located in New York City.
This measure works with any alcohol or liquid. Just insert the sterling rod into the liquor bottle and turn it upside down to fill the glass reservoir which measures the pour and the pour into the cocktail glass or cocktail shaker. A 'real necessity' for every bartender regardless of how experienced.
The measure/pourer is approximately 8 1/2 inches long overall. It is in good vintage condition showing age appropriate wear with a small bump/dent here or there.
