Sterling silver stone inlay belt buckle set, sometimes called a buckaroo set, that is Native American made by the Navajo silversmith/artist Albert Platero, his logo/mark is on the silver, see photo. In Spanish, Platero means silversmith, so maybe it was his destiny to be a silversmith? Albert is from a Navajo reservation that is about 30 miles west of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The set consists of a buckle, a belt tip and 2 belt guides, all are sterling silver and set with similar stonework. Being a set with 4 pieces, this is a very complete set. This set will accommodate a one inch wide belt. The belt is not included. This vintage, late 1900s, set is in very good vintage condition showing very little wear.
