This wonderful dish is made by Meriden Brittania Company of Meriden, Connecticut in sterling silver, circa 1890s. The dish is in the shape of a lily pad or a water lily leaf with a frog hanging onto it from the underside. The frog's "fingers" can be seen clenching the edges of the lily pad and then the frog's head peaks out from the top of the leaf/pad.
The dish is in very good vintage/antique condition and is not monogrammed nor engraved. This dish is approximately 4 1/2 inches by 4 inches. It is marked with the Meriden company logo and the word STERLING along with the letters and number WB118.
