Sterling Silver American hip flask decorated with Art Deco inspired machined lines, no monogram. The lid or screw off cap for this flask is a collapsible beaker so that the imbiber does not have to put their mouth on the flask itself, but can drink a shot from the beaker.
The flask is marked "8 oz.", presumably for the liquid capacity of the flask. It is also marked "STERLING" as well as "ROSS". The flask is concave shaped to conform to the curvature of the body/hip. Circa 1925.
The overall length of the flask to the top of the attached lid is approximately 6 3/8 inches and the width is about 3 1/2 inches.
