A one-of-a-kind ring featuring an Asscher Cut diamond of superb quality. The center diamond has a GIA diamond grading report #6127412978 showing that the stone is of VVS2 clarity, E color and weighs .80 ct.
The Asscher cut diamond was first produced in 1902 by the Asscher Brothers of Holland, famous at the time for cutting the world's largest rough diamond (the Cullinan at 3,106 carats). The Asscher Cut diamond became the "It" diamond of the roaring 20's.
The modern Asscher Cut diamond, including this one, is similar to a square emerald cut, but with larger step facets, a higher crown, and a smaller table. This combination often produces more brilliance than the emerald cut.
Our designer, Jenny Sweaney has added channel set baguette diamonds and pave set round diamonds to complete the vintage-y Art Deco look.
