The painting has been housed in a lovely gilded frame by the artist.
The frame measures 25" x 21".

Saguaro National Park is an American national park in Pima County, southeastern Arizona. The park preserves Sonoran Desert landscapes, fauna, and flora, including the giant saguaro cactus.
Darcie Peet has made the Colorado Rocky Mountains and Tucson Arizona's Sonoran Desert her home for over twenty years. She grew up with a passion for the outdoors often drawing and painting her outdoor adventures throughout primary and secondary school.
She has a B.A. in art and a M.A. in interior design. Her passion has always been her painting and her love for the outdoors.
Darcie Peet's paintings have been juried into Oil Painters of America and numerous national and regional shows, including Salon international, The C.M. Russell Museum Show, Great American West Shows and Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters National Exhibit. She has been honored with numerous awards in many shows that included Best of Show, First Place, Artists Choice and Collectors Choice awards.
Her paintings have also been featured in many national art publications, such as Art of the West, Western Art Collector and Southwest Art. She is a Signature Member of the Oil Painters of America.
