A fine American Eighteenth-Century walnut chest of drawers probably Maryland or Virginia. The rectangular top with an applied molding over the case which has two short drawers over three long drawers decorated with a line inlay. The drawers are framed with a chamfered post. The case rests on straight bracket feet with exposed dovetailing. The chest retains its original hardware. Condition is very fine with a pleasing finish and fine color. Circa: 1790.
