A fine and rare American Federal pole screen probably New England. The octagonal japanned screen is painted with a scenic image with figures in a pagoda framed with a floral border. The pole and tripod base in mahogany with a turned acorn finial, line inlay and ebony spade feet. Condition is very good with wear appropriate with age. Circa: 1800.
