This antique sterling spoon is in very good condition with normal wear. Made by Towle Silversmiths in the 1892 Princess pattern, this spoon is dated to 1894 as the date shows on the back of the handle. The bowl of course is the star of the show with an engraving of the Court House in Rauenna, Ohio. I love the engraving with a gold washed bowl and the engraving brings out the silver underneath, just spectacular and the engraving is very detailed! The spoon is 5 5/8" in length and weighs 21.1 grams of sterling silver.
